1. "Don't Stop" - a 2D Short Film
So I made my second animated short film. But this is my first animation because..
I did most of the Animation myself and the entire project had no professional help.💪
Just me, my buddies and an iPad.
So here’s the film. (It’s super short 😬)
This film was made in procreate and edited on premiere pro. (I’ll share the detailed process next week)
2. Reflections on making this Film(for me)
– Animation takes time regardless of the size of the project. So best to do BIGprojects than small ones.
👨⚕️ Get professional help for 2d animation – it’s best for me to focus on other skills like Visual development, design and direction than animation.
– You can make films on procreate but it’s easier on Industry standard softwares.
– Think 1 film at a time.
🐢 ‘Don’t Stop’ – keep goin’ when things get tough.
– It’s hard to stick with projects that takes weeks/months. So have small milestones, reach em’ and celebrate (this is key)
🫂 Here’s how you can go easy on yourself. Treat yourself like a friend that you are helping. Separate yourself from you to see yourself.
