Day 1: The Art of Seeing
We start off with the ‘Fundamental Art of Seeing’ – Looking at the world, breaking it down to simple ways of understanding and then drawing it using the ‘Rule of 3’s’
Day 2: Playing with Style
Learn how people “Stylise” their drawings using this key principle. Understand how style comes about and how we can apply it to our references.
Day 3: Drawing in 3D
We are going from 2D to 3D! How do we see the world in 3d forms rather than just shapes? What’s a practical way to apply this? That’s Day 3.
Day 4: Look Alike
How do you capture likeness? Learn the 3 Step Practical framework and apply it on Day 4.
Day 5: Expressions
Learn to draw expressive faces and facial expressions using one of the easiest methods – ‘The Smiley Method for facial Expressions’
Day 6: People Made Simple
Learn How to draw Cartoon characters and people WITHOUT learning Human anatomy.
Day 7: Finding Life
Are your drawings a bit stiff? Learn the ‘Dynamic Drawing Method’ for breathing a sense of life into your characters.
Day 8: How to Pose I
Learn how to draw your characters in different poses using the ‘Bean Bag Method’.
Day 9: How to Pose II
Practice posing your characters using the Bean Bag Method – One of the fundamental frameworks of character design.
Day 10: Playing with Shapes
Learn the ‘Principle of Shapes’ – A framework used to play and come up different looking characters.
Day 11: What-A-Character
Create appealing characters using underrated techniques of character design.
Day 12: Clothing Made Simple
Create and draw clothing the simple way and know exactly where to draw wrinkles.
Day 13: How to Ink
Learn the Art of Inking your characters and the simple practices to make to get better at Linework!
Day 14: Choosing Colors
Colors made simple – Here’s a simple way to learn and pick colors that do not suck.
The Final Project
Create your Final character Illustration project using the all the principles and techniques you’ve learned
– Install the Illustration process in your memory to draw well and fast (without uncertainty)
