1. Drawing of the Week
Here’s a little drawing I did from the Drawing Desk. đ

I’ve been experimenting with more realistic styles of drawing Characters and this is the first step in that direction. đŁ
I’m in the process of coloring it now – will share the results later.
2. How to Draw like me?
How do you go about learning to draw from Scratch to making comics and animation? đ€

I put out a detailed podcast on this but here’s a quick 2 min summary đ
1. First – Define the Objective – the kind of art you want to do – which is Stylised character design for Comics and animation.Â
2. Two – Divide your Learning Process into Three phases –Â
âą Foundation – Where you master the fundamentals of drawing.
âą Design – Where you learn the skill of human character design.
âą Creation– Where you learn Imaginative and Stylised drawing – and do a Project.
3. Here’s a list of Skills you need to focus on learning for each levels
đïž Foundation
âą Lines and shapes.
âą Gesture/flow.
âą Forms and perspective.
âą Light and shadow.
âą Measuring and proportions.
