1. I Tried Learning Blender in 5 Hours
I’ve always wanted to learn ‘Blender’ – a Software for creating cool 3D Art and animations.
Why?
So I can eventually install it as part of my process to create animated short films eventually or at the least, have the knowledge to direct people who are using this tool.
And I tried doing that in 5 Hours. Did I succeed?
See for yourself 👇
2. 5 Hours, 2 weeks and 100 Days
Here’s a framework that I’ve been using/testing lately to quickly turn ideas into finished project.
Use ‘Timed Sprints’ to achieve them.
5 Hours – Can you make that comic of yours in 5 hours? At least the super crappy first draft version of it?
2 Weeks – Can we make a refined Shorter MVP of the Final project? A 5 Page Short comic done in 14 days that’s part of the larger 30-50 page comic.
100 Days – A Good Chunk of time to get Large or More than half of a large project done.
Why use this method?
Testing ideas quickly to see if one wants to work on it rather than “thinking” about whether or not to work on it, while keeping the ‘loses’ to a minimum.
If you decide that you don’t like doing that thing within the 5 hrs, 14 days or 100 days – Time to drop it and move on.
Also, It makes ‘commitment’ easier for those who are afraid to commit.
3. Favourite Quote of the Week
“Most skills take 20 hrs to learn but people take years to get to that first hour”
– Alex Hormozi
That’s it for this week folks!
See you in the next one 🙂
Best,
Kesh.
