Starting 2D Animation

1) 2D Animation Experiment

We (and that’s the keyword there) have been experimenting with ‘Hand-drawn 2D animation’ at our studio for the Past 10 days. ✍️

And we have made a couple of gif’s to dip our toes into this world.

Why?

• Personally, I’ve been making the next Big move in my artistic journey that has to do with animation.

• So I want to test something in a low-key simple fashion before we dive into something deep.

• That means, we are diving into something deep and this is a little warm up style doodle before we do that.

Takeaway: Do little tests before starting big experiments. 😌

I’ll be talking about this really soon.

2) Make your Own Smoothie

I’ve been working with a mentor who’s been coaching me on some life stuff,

And one of the biggest things we landed on was this : Make your own Smoothie.

– Everyone will tell you to do things “their way”.
– Everyone will tell you how things will and won’t work.
– Everyone is competing with others so much that we forget our individuality.

So what do you do?: Make your own Smoothie 🥤

• What are the ingredients you want in your smoothie?
• At what quantities do you want it?
• What do you don’t want?
• What ingredients are important to you? (I like apples)
• How do you want to make them and how much?

Basically – Make YOUR own Smoothie, instead of following the recipe of others. 🥤

It’s hard to not be good at a game where you make the rules 😉

3) Favourite Quote of the Week

“The Quality of your Life is determined by how much you’re willing to bet on yourself regardless of what people think.”

– Anonymous

That’s all for this week folks,
See you with 3 more things next week.

Best,
Kesh.
