Practicing Anime Heads

1) Drawing Anime Heads

I’ve been practicing the art of drawing anime heads for this month of Sep at Drawdaily365.✏️

The goal is to study and draw the stylistic elements of anime heads for 10-20mins a day for 30 Days.

Here are some drawings from the practice 👇

I’m curious to see the things I’ll make by the end of this challenge.

2) Relentless Steps are the Key to Success

Lately, I’ve been feeling happy.

Like really happy. (despite dealing with a crap ton of problems in my life)

And I was wondering;

“How am I happy and calm in situations where I’m usually panicking?”

And here’s a list of things that has been helping me:

• Take relentless steps towards your goals – progress = happiness.

• Don’t beat yourself up when you fail – treat it as feedback.

• Expect problems and learn to live with it – Life is full of it.

• Meditate and Journal – Helps calm and clarify the mind.

• Use systems to systemize things that important to you.

• And finally – Faith. It helps big time. Find a version that works for you.

It is necessary for an artist to observe and live his life to make art. 😌

And these observations have made my artistic practice much better.

3) Favourite Quote of the Week

“What if laziness is nothing but a habit of thinking about the effort instead of thinking about the outcome?”

– Scott Adams

That’s it.
I’ll see you again next week 🙂

Best,
Kesh.
