WIN 2024

The new year is in the horizon and the next couple of newsletters are all gonna be about my thoughts on how to WIN 2024.

1. How to LOSE 2024

If we wanna WIN something, it’s best to define ways to screw it up.

So here’s how you lose 2024 👇

1. Don’t define what you want or seeking in clear terms?

2. Be vague about your goals. Best if you don’t have any. It’s a sure fire way to fail.

3. Think short term. Instead of long term.

4. Pursue many goals at the same time. It ensures you don’t achieve any.

5.  Try to have the cake and eat it too (Aka blind yourself to sacrifice)

6. Don’t ask WHY you want to pursue something.

7. Have complex plans. Simplicity might help you win.

8. Have goals but don’t follow systems/habits to achieve it.

9. Don’t workout and eat crap.

10. Don’t seek a teacher/mentor who has done what you want. If you did, definitely don’t listen to them.

Do these in the right order to lose 2024.

Do the opposite to win it.

2. WIN 2024

1. Define exactly what you want to happen. Ex – I want to loose X amount of weight.

2. Be precise with your speech.

3. Think what you can achieve in 10 years and what’s the first step that you can take this year.

4. Only pursue 1-5 large goals that has a massive impact on your life this year. Best if it’s only 1-3.

5. Define the cost of your goals. What do you need to give up and what can you give up.

6. Ask WHY you are pursuing these goals. Define your motivations. See if it’s worth doing.

7. Make it easy to WIN. And have a simple plan to do so. Simple scales, fancy fails.

8. Define 1 habit/action item for each KEY goals. Track if you are doing it.

9. Workout 2x a week, eat good quality food and get to bed by 11.

10. Seek the mentorship of someone who has done what you’ve done and follow them religiously.

These are some of the ways I’m going about 2024.

Hope these help 🙂

3. Favourite Quote of the Week

“The best way to not achieve a goal is to not have one in the first place”

That’s it for this week folks.
See you in the next one 🙂

Best,
Kesh.
