The 100 Day Project

1. 100 Days of Sketching 2023

This year’s ‘100 Days of Sketching’ is in and here is the Prompt List for the year.

Incase you don’t know what this challenge is about, It’s all about this;

Rules:

1. Draw everyday for 6 mins a day.

2. Draw for 100 Days.

3. Draw more on days when you feel like it and draw for at least 6 mins when you don’t feel like it.

It’s Drawing/Sketching everyday for 100 Days (for a minimum of 6 minutes)

Here’s a link to download the challenge guidebook which will give you more details about it.

2. 100 Day Project

And here’s something special – A Themed Bonus Prompt List.

Most folks don’t intend to create a new drawing everyday.  But how about just 10 drawings. Or illustrations. Or mini projects.

– Aim to create 10 Things.
– Work on it everyday for 6 mins.
– Do it for 100 Days.

That’s the 100 Day Project.

That’s what I’m doing this year.

I’m making a mini comic for each of these prompts during the course of 100 Days and conquer one of the biggest challenges I’ve wanted to overcome – Collecting all these short comics and Publishing a Comic Book. 📚

– This is a thing that I’ve always wanted to do but never had the time/resources to do so.

– And my past attempts has been a colossal failure.

But now, I think I can pull it off. I’ve learned, I’ve become better and I’m gonna give it a shot. 💪

+ I wanna document that journey on my YouTube (more on this later)

So, What project would you do for 100 Days?

3. Favourite Quote of the week

“the Manifesto is this: Draw the Art you want to see, Start the Business you want to run, Play the Music you want to hear, Write the Books you want to read, Build the Products you want to use – Do the work you want to see done”.

– Austin Kleon, Steal like an Artist.

That’s it for this week folks!
See you in the next one 🙂

Best,
Kesh.
