How to Learn Drawing In 10 mins/day?

I drew everyday in 2025 for just 10-20 mins/day and got drastically better at my craft.

And I just followed these 3 steps…

Little things like lines, shapes, forms, the quality of the head, the body, the construction.

When I took a look at the progress that I’ve made, it was not all made by me just drawing every day for the last year. ❌

It was made over two or three years.

But most of the progress that I made was in last year. And all I did was just this;

I Drew for 10-20 minutes each day for 365 days. ✏️

Step 1: One Theme a Month

I chose one specific thing to focus on for a period of 30 days (one month),

I had 12 different themes for 12 months,

12×30 Day Challenges – Each focused on ONE Theme.

For Example: I did a 30 Days of  ‘Drawing Hands’ for August 2025.

Step 2: Set a Clear Outcome

Once you have the theme – You need to be clear with the outcome you are looking for at the end of 30 days. 🎯

You cannot set an unclear goal like;

“I wanna get good at drawing hands.”

But rather, be more specific with the outcome you wanna have, like;

“I wanna get good at drawing hands in certain specific poses that would help me draw my comics and characters faster, and draw the hands of those characters well.

And I’m gonna do that by practicing hands in relaxed, open, closed, action and symbolic poses” ✔️

I created these categories that would solve my specific problem of drawing hands in comics.

And once I did that…

Step 3: One Drawing, Each day, for 10-20 mins

I get the necessary reference images or take pictures myself of specific poses I want, and Draw ONE DRAWING.

Just ONE: for 10-20 mins.

And after the drawing session, I give myself 1-2 mins of feedback, and ask questions such as;

• How can I make the forms in the finger better?
• How can I get the perspective right?
• How can I draw the base better, etc.

So that’s all I did.

I chose 12 different themes or challenges to focus on over the past 12 months like;

– Head drawing,
– Manga bodies ,
– Character design,
– Drawing Fundamentals,
– Gestures/Poses,

And practiced them for 10-20 mins/day and boom, my drawings got drastically better.

and not only did ‘I’ draw everyday, I shot everything that I drew..

and taught them as part of my ‘Drawdaily365’ program.

And 100+ other artists around the world participated with me for the year,

And they too got better at their craft and had an amazing experience as a result of the Program. 💪

We’re all mind blown together as to how much you can achieve in just 10 mins/day.

So, if you wanna do the same, and improve your skills one month at a time, try these 3 STEPS.

Or Checkout ‘Drawdaily365’ its a fantastic way to learn drawing in 10-20 mins/day.

Enrollments open on Dec 25th ⏰
