1) The Chibi Drawing Breakdown
One of my favourite animated movies from this year is K-Pop Demon Hunters.
It was quite unexpected hit for me as I watched having dinner thinking it’s another run of the mill movie.
But damn, it was one of the few “musicals” that worked for me.🤯
Anyways,
I’ve always wanted to draw chibi version of the main characters and I just completed one yesterday.
Here’s “Huntress” Chibi 👇

I spent the majority of my time trying to find the right “sketch” and it took me 2 out of the 4 total hours to land on a design I liked.
Tools: iPad and procreate
Time: 4 hrs
2) Art Lesson of the Week
I saw this Quote from an entrepreneur I follow on “finishing” things – I think it applies greatly to artists. ✏️
This one hit me hard particularly because – despite my consistent daily sketch practice, I’ve noticed that I finish less and start more. Need to flip it.
Best advice to the self for the week.
3) Favourite Quote of the Week
“A pattern I’ve noticed:
People who build tiny things daily become unstoppable within months. People who wait for big moments to take big actions stay exactly where they are for years.
If you want to transform your life in 6 months, stop planning your perfect year and start perfecting your daily routine. I’ve seen people change everything by committing to 20 minutes of daily action.
Small daily actions beat big annual goals every time.”
– Sharran Srivatsaa
That’s it.
I’ll see you again next week 🙂
Best,
Kesh.
