I Drew Everyday in 2025. Here’s what I’ve Learned…

Here’s a drawing of a character that I’ve drawn a couple of years ago 👇

And here’s a drawing of the same character I drew right now. 👇

I’m not sure about you. But I see a massive difference in the quality of execution in both of these drawings. ✍️

Little things like lines, shapes, forms, the quality of the head, the body, the construction.

When I took a look at the progress that I’ve made, it was not all made by me just drawing every day for the last year. ❌

It was made over two or three years.

But most of the progress that I made was in last year. And all I did was just this;

I Drew for 10-20 minutes each day for 365 days. ✏️

I divided the entire year into 12 chunks,

With each month focused on a particular subject that I like to improve upon, like;

• Character design,
• Head drawing,
• Anatomy,
• Dynamic poses,
• Anime heads,
• Hands etc

 And that’s all I did.

I gave each month a theme, something to focus towards, and designed the curriculum myself, and then I just drew. ✍️

And I got a little better every single day by giving myself 1-2 line feedbacks, which took me two minutes each day. That’s it.

• 12 months,
• 12 themes,
• 10-20 minutes of drawing.
• 2 Mins of Feedback

It’s amazing how fast you could improve on something if you just did a little bit of good work each day.  😌

And not only did I do it, but also…

Hundreds of other artists drew along with me for the entire year. 🤯

So I literally taught every single thing I drew to other people, and they saw massive progress through their own journey.

And I’m hearing wonderful things from them about the ‘DrawDaily365’ challenge we all did together.

The biggest lesson I learned this year was this;

“You don’t need to do massive things in order to make a massive change in your life.

You just need to focus on the most important thing that you want to change and do little bits of action each day, consistently, continuously, and then make progress each day.”

And that will make a massive change in your art, and possibly even in your life.

So here’s a Challenge for you?

 ✏️ Draw everyday for 10-20 mins/day for 2026 and see where that takes you.

If you want some help, check out ‘Drawdaily365’. It opens for enrollment on Dec 25th.

Or do it yourself.

But DO IT. That’s where the game is.

Best,
Kesh.
